I have my board bios set to AHCP and Win7 installs the built-in Sata drivers for the board which are fine so you don’t have to install the F-6 Sata drivers but you will need to install the Intel Matrix dontroller manager software to for the Sata drivers to work right and as a bonus you will get the Intel Matrix Storage Console you can use to monitor your Smart-enabled Sata drives.

I have tried compatibility famiily and they don’t seem to help. Thanks so much for the info Newnerd. Please note that some of the Intel downloads are zip files that need to be extracted into the folder you save the download in and then you must right-click the “set-up” file and install them in compatibility mode.
I do not think it is installing.
